Rishi Sunak
A COMPETENT GOVERNMENT
Young Mr Sunak has promised his MPs that he will provide a stable competent government. A modest attitude but a mega task when one considers the problems facing Britain and the world. Yet, what Rishi Sunal says, Rishi Sunak does; in fact, he is already a proven phenomenon, being the first UK PM whose origins hark back to Mother India.
Mr Rishi is a man of good sense, a man who opens closed doors, who pushes himself against the odds. It would be hard to find fault with him since he ticks off all those boxes; super bright, an Oxford graduate with an MBA from Stanford University, determined, so focused he transformed his political career from upbeat to awesome before you could say, Dick Whittington.
THE GREAT ADVENTURE
So, where did his great adventure begin? Well, once upon a time, a cute baby was born with his Sun in Taurus and Moon in Aries. Right from the start, a “Fairy Godmother Venus” ensured little Rishi’s stubborn “give me my rattle back” attitude would not deter Kismet. He probably learned to talk earlier than most kids. Even with the odd “Toddler Taurus” temper tantrum, he was so friendly few could resist him and even fewer were surprised to see him walk the golden path to success.
Rishi is the kind of guy who looks after folks; he probably ensured grandma did not waste her money down the high street when he was eight years old. He always wanted to make a lot of money. He even scored a graduate career at Goldman Sachs. Yet, he is a spiritual man and happily prays along with his wife, Akshata Murty and their daughters, Krishna and Anoushka, down at his local temple. To boot, he is more than content to make chapattis as he launches the odd family joke.
His solid demeanour ensures people trust him. Colleagues refer to him as a “good man”, a “highly disciplined rational individual”, and they are not wrong. His spiritual roots may lie in his local temple, but he was more than ready to learn how to balance his personal beliefs with the realities of Winchester Public School and British middle-class society. He went to Oxford, where his tutors deemed him “…. an excellent student. He was really interested, he really wanted to understand, he cared about things, and he worked hard. He couldn’t have been a better student, really. He listened, he absorbed things, he asked good questions.”
TITANIC STYLE
With Mercury in Taurus, one could claim Rishi is as bright as he is bullheaded. He can stand anything, even political complexities and nagging colleagues on the other side of the bench. The good news is that his Astro ensures his particular Titanic is not going to crash into an iceberg instead, he will act like a “Magician”, pulling numerous white rabbits out of top hats and ensuring this green and emerald island does not sink into the Channel.
Rishi wants to leave a positive mark on lives. He is loyal to his cause, a worker, a planner, and a resourceful winner. He saw his family make sacrifices when they came to the UK, and he has always been ready to do the same. He participates; he cooperates while that Fairy Godmother Venus watches over him, just as she did when he was a little kid saving his sweets for his friends.
