ALONG POPPED AN ANGEL

So along popped the heavenly angel with an impressive parchment scroll. “Okay,” the angel declared, unravelling the scroll, “This is the contract for your next life. Do you want to sign it?”

Kerry read it through, but hang on a minute, her new life on earth would be so challenging, she wondered whether it was worth incarnating. Did she really want to face all that heartache, all that challenge? Did she really want to become a member of “Atomic Kitten” as an emotionally immature teen unable to handle all the fans, the fame, the popularity, and the crazy world of pop?

She looked bemused, so the angel said, “Look, this new incarnation will really enhance your vibes, give your soul an opportunity to shine, and to boot, we will ensure you leap into the world with your Sun in Aries and Moon in Sagittarius, a fantastic Astro team that will fire your motor no matter what, how about it?”

Kerry signed and the angel kept their word. Kerry is one amazing human who never walks away from challenges, she faces them with a loud laugh and a cartload of courage.

ALL THE CHUTZPAH SHE NEEDED

Kerry was born with the Sun in Aries and the Moon in Sagittarius; Astro buddies gifted her with all the chutzpah she needed to make soul music even without an orchestra. Kerry grabs onto life with gusto, her joyful attitude seeing even the most challenging experience as an opportunity for growth. When things get tough, she goes into active overdrive. She might overreact, but she never let the bad guys win, even when darkness overtook her life and she felt as if the end of her world had come.

Kerry has opened up about her infamous “This Morning” Interview, which has been a thorn in her side for more than a decade. She wants to raise awareness for those suffering from Bipolar disorder. At the time, people thought she was drunk, that she was behaving weirdly,

“From the age of 17, I was put on many antidepressants, especially from the time of joining Atomic Kitten,’ she said.

“And I was doing drugs as everybody knows, and I went into the Priory, and my doctor, my psychiatrist, diagnosed me with bipolar and it turned out to be quite a common thing with a lot of people with mental health [issues], people who turned to drugs.

Kerry added: ”I honestly did not have a clue what bipolar was, but I was so grateful that there was a word for it because I thought I was going mad.”
At this point, you might be forgiven for not realising how well she was protected by the angel’s promise and a benevolent Astro Spirit since she went through more trials and tribulations than the average person; a challenging childhood in foster homes, drugs, divorce, domestic abuse and bankruptcy were the poison in her chalice.

HELD HOSTAGE

In 2007 Kerry and her daughter Heidi were held, hostage. Three men forcibly entered their home, one holding Katona at knifepoint while the others forced her then-husband, Mark Croft, to show them where the valuables were kept. She was unharmed, but Kerry went into total shock and her bipolar disorder emerged with a vengeance as a result of the trauma. Even back then, she would still pull herself out of the darkness. After all, she was not a brilliant singer or the subject of three MTV reality shows, “Kerry Katona”, “Crazy in Love”, and “Whole Again” for nothing. She made good on her vow to join Celebrity Big Brother in 2011. She even kept going through three broken marriages, the last with a violent rugby champion George Kay who assaulted her in her own home.

Recently Kerry put an appearance on Loose Women and presented her new book “Whole Again, Love Life and Me!” She admitted that she never told anyone about the domestic abuse. But the lovely Kerry and her guardian angel had worked hard to win through the pain of it all, and the result was her life lit up and her heart never stopped loving. During the interview on “Loose Women”, she wept for her kids, who never saw the abuse, but she admits to having heard it.

Kerry has had the courage to start again. She will not give up on the greatest emotion any human can feel. Perhaps that is why the angels will always protect her. She told “Loose Women” she would not change anything, not the foster homes, the abuse, the drug addiction, the bankruptcy; she realised that her soul had won the battle, and she fulfilled her promise to the angel and her mission on this earth, a mission that few would understand, but heaven certainly does. She has a long life ahead of her, and she will continue to live it to the hilt.
