NEVER OVERLOOKED IN A CROWD

“There was a little girl…. Who had a little curl, right in the middle of her forehead. When she was good, she was very, very good, but when she was bad, she was horrid”. We are not saying Meghan Markle is that little girl, but she bears more than a vague similarity to her.

Meghan girl could not be overlooked in a crowd, especially as it was clear she was doing her best to act royal. She wielded a handbag with style and grabbed bunches of flowers from well-wishers with aplomb. She also looked great in super hats and wedding gowns and when she said “I do” to Prince Harry, she even managed to hang on to her veil in a raging May breeze. The great British public went wild as the two fated lovers gazed into each other’s eyes and said, “I do!” The besotted Meg and Harry went on to wave at the masses from their magical carriage like cutouts from a fairy tale! Yet another commoner had stolen a Royal heart, but this was no well-brought-up girl from the counties; this chic chick was Malibu Meg, rumoured to swear like a trooper and drive a hard bargain.

FAMOUS FOR HATS

Malibu Meg was born a Leo on the fourth of August in Los Angeles. Strangely, she landed on planet Earth on the same birthday as Queen Mum, who was also famous for her devastating charm and quirky hats. A fairy queen must have blessed little Meg. The gifts bestowed with so much generosity were great looks, an innate sophistication, “Woke-ed-ness”, big hair and a tendency to convince the hoi polloi she was the greatest. Success and prestige were what the fairies had invoked for our girl, thereby ensuring Meg got what she yearned for…. attention.

Even if the cutie pie grew up in the midst of the family drama, she was fated to win the “hot girl “prize in the end. With her Moon in Libra, she dreamed romantic as in true love and “princes and palaces” A gap between her teeth did not stop her; it would be eliminated with the skills of a Californian dentist. In fact, she would dress up as queen at eight years old, waving her magic sceptre at the ordinary kids because she knew she was a cut above them. However, in her latest podcast, she admitted, “I was always a little bit of a loner and really shy and didn’t know where to fit in!”

She fitted in with her parents. Daddy Thomas, an Emmy award-winning lighting engineer doted on her, as did her “pillar of strength”, mummy Doria. But family conflict created a stunted relationship with her half-siblings; she did not invite Dad to the royal wedding after she caught him “waxing lyrical” about a suit fitting to the tabloids and other unfortunate “leaks” of a personal nature. She never let feelings of betrayal get in her way, though. After all, she had long hit the high note with a beautiful schemer role in “Suits”, and to her own surprise, an exquisitely dressed Royal Role in “The Firm”. She used all her clout to improve life on this planet as a result of more than her share of Astro’s benevolence, even if that meant flying around the world in private planes that consume a lot of fuel. In that process, she dropped in on Oprah, the Invictus Games, Netflix etc. One just has to make the best of the MegHarryBrexit, doesn’t one?

BAD PRESS

So why does the good-intentioned Malibu Meg get such bad press? Is it really because she humiliated palace staff? Sun in Leo and Moon in Libra ensure she adores being adored. Leo Meghan would never think of herself as nasty. Meghan prefers to radiate kindness, light and charisma; how she does it could be deemed magical; how she managed to get the palace in a tizzy whizz was a combo of bad luck and prejudice. Even if one goes on Oprah and lays into the Royals who made one cry, one has to realise a system that is thousands of years old and, at the time, was presided over by a much-loved monarch needs to be put straight. She is now a mum and her kids deserve titles, never mind William, Kate and cheerless Charlie, the guy who walked her up the aisle.

Planet Chiron, the wounded healer, must have shone its hurt rays on her when she told Oprah how misunderstood she felt at the palace and why a good little girl “with a curl in the centre of her forehead” was being blamed for things she never did. It was everybody else’s fault but Meghan’s.

MEAN GIRL REPORTS

That said, beyond the “mean girl” reports emanating from the tabloids, Astro insist Meghan is not Cruella de Ville after all. Her sweet, planetary tendencies show up as charming, beautiful, bubbly, and enthusiastic. Her rising Cancer could be her Achilles heel. It denotes super sensitivity, even vulnerability. She overreacts when “told what to do!” She does things “California fast” style, and she expects people to do the same even if they hark from East Hull. If folks do not understand how well-meaning she is … tough. After all, she knows she is right no matter what the courtiers, the butlers, the secretaries, the PA or Princess Ann say. But she is forgiving and continues to market the Sussex Royal brand as long as it matters. Planet Cancer also ensures she does not “do” memories. She has a tendency to walk away from her past, and that includes half-brothers, a sister, her deceased dad, an ex-husband and Buckingham Palace. But she balances her lack of concerns with “times gone by” by taking a humanitarian approach when broadcasting podcasts, which ensures the masses adore her. Well, at least a sizeable number of people.

Her fans deem her heroic for standing up to those Royals. However, a deluded Neptune continues to sabotage her attempts at putting over “the true picture”; the Oprah interview, plus the usual palace gossip, ensured more finger-pointing from the tabloids.

The fact is Meghan is a nice, pretty girl who misunderstands and is misunderstood. She has so many good traits and mixed with her beauty, intelligence, and savoir-faire could still do a lot to recuperate her rather disastrous collision course with the Royals. The stars show she truly does want to make the world a better place, and her devotion to her “Harry family” is sincere.

So could “the girl with the curl” ever become “the girl with the pearl?”.

She once said, referring to herself and Harry, “…. by existing, we were upsetting the dynamic of the Royal Family!” So perhaps beloved Harry and the gorgeous Meg deem making peace with the past an unlikely prospect. Her fiery horoscope, coupled with some excessive airy elements, might ensure her explosive uniqueness, yet her strange incapacity to decipher obvious realities might be the fly in the ointment. So, could Neptune’s “dreams come true” rays reward “the girl with a pearl?” or just a Rubric cube? All we can do is wait and see.
