HEAVEN ANSWERS MAN’S DETERMINATION TO BE FREE

It is indeed rare, very rare, that a soul comes to this earth on a mission that ensures their Astro destiny is almost irrelevant…. Maggie Oliver is one of those people, a determined whistle-blower, an individual who follows her calling, a calling which is to save as many children as she can from horrors few of us can even imagine.

CHEATING THE ASTRO

So has Maggie really cheated the Astro? Well, perhaps not totally. Her sun is in Libra, her moon is in Capricorn, and they call for cosmic justice; they will support her promise to save abused children from depravity. In fact, Maggie’s mission is love, cosmic love that pervades everything she touches. She is a good human, a whistleblower, yet also a star that shines so brightly it reveals the horrors of sick, criminal minds.

This beautiful woman founded the Maggie Oliver Foundation to support the survivors of the Rochdale scandal. Her intent is to “transform pain to Power”. The foundation is run by volunteers as well as survivors of abuse. The premise is to help victims heal their broken hearts and this process also includes receiving legal guidance, emotional support and an education that will build into their futures.

THE MOST DIFFICULT JOURNEY

Certainly, Maggie knows what pain is, her husband died of cancer, and she nursed him till the end. She lost a beloved grandchild before the age of three. However, by dedicating her life to enabling victims, those losses will not have been in vain,

She said, “I didn’t join the police until I was 41. I was well-travelled and educated, I brought four kids up. I wanted people to see I wasn’t some bitter police officer who just decided to make a fuss about something.…….. I’ve had a lot of ups and downs in my life, but without a shadow of a doubt, this has been the most difficult journey I’ve ever had”.

When interviewed on “Loose Women” she spoke about “The Never Too Late “campaign, which urged survivors to speak openly about what they had gone through. Secrets, if not revealed, destroy a healthy sense of self. But by recounting what happened to them, children could recuperate a sense of safety and self-respect.

She says, “There are thousands of children who are being failed, and I knew that I had a duty to speak the truth!”

THE BOOK

Maggie wrote a book about the effects of sexual abuse on children it is called “Survivors!”

She told Manchester online that she had resisted the urge to write it for years. The essence of her journey had always been about the victims that were failed by the police and social services “I didn’t want to talk about my story …but for the full truth to come out, there was no other way than to write my own book.”

Maggie had to fight hard for justice and, in that process, came into contact with the worst human traits. Corruption, ignorance and, above all, indifference to the suffering of young girls who were considered classless rubbish by the authorities. Maggie was derided by her chief constable, who insisted she was too emotionally involved with Rochdale. They deemed her incapable, they insisted she had lost the plot and had invented the gravity of the abuse. The police did not believe the men had committed such depths of depravity. In truth, they did not care, they had no intention of following through with the case, even if two of the victims had identified their abusers during an identity parade. Maggie did not give up, Maggie kept pushing for justice even though the Crown Prosecution Service continued to imply she was delusional

HER MISSION ON THIS EARTH

Maggie was dealing with a despicable gang of nine Asian males who amused themselves by grooming young girls, promising them gifts only to rape them when they were drugged or drunk. Maggie yearned to give back the wounded children their self-respect, to help them feel loved and supported. In fact, that job has been her mission on this earth.

She has managed to create a chain of support for the girls and cooperated with an Independent Enquiry into Child Sexual abuse She saw to it that the girls who were processed by the grooming gang told their stories to the radio version of Channel Four News and an uproar ensued. The public was outraged by the way they had been treated. Maggie had done her job well. Eventually, the gang was jailed.

A SYMBOL

Maggie has since resigned from the police force in order to speak to as many media outlets as possible. The Rochdale case has become a symbol of how and why the system is incapable of protecting its most vulnerable children and continues to fail them.

She confided in Manchester online, “I’m trying to create something that helps … I wish I could do it for everyone who messages me. I want to help them and be someone who says, ‘You’ve done nothing wrong.

So has Maggie really outwitted her Astro? Well, perhaps not totally. But when someone decides to follow a dedicated path, they tend not to care about where their planets are they are too involved in their responsibilities on this earth, both spiritual and material.

Maggie might not be as spiritually succinct as Yogananda but she knows her soul well and flies with Spirit when she believes in something. She is a courageous woman, and her work will help scared and abused kids find their way home.
