What turns a good daddy into a bad one? Stress, psychological problems, trauma, even fame? Sadly, when it comes to celebrity fathers many a mesmeric star has not come up to scratch!

Alex Baldwin

Take Alex Baldwin, a grand Hollywood actor and Kim Basinger’s ex. The two sired a daughter, a beautiful girl called Ireland! The problem was that the divorce got very nasty and Alex was embittered and consistently offensive to Kim and Ireland. He once referred to his daughter as a ” rude, thoughtless little pig! ” Of course that particular outburst was OTT, and Alex apologized later; it appears father and daughter have gotten closer in recent years!

Charlie Sheen

Charlie Sheen is known for doing drugs, enjoying the company of prostitutes, opening his mouth too wide during interviews, and acting, of a sort. But he is not famous for being a great dad. He has two daughters with Denise Richards and twin boys with Brooke Mueller. When Muller went into rehab a few years ago Charlie hired two of his favourite “good-time girls” to take care of the boys! Trauma City!

Eddie Murphy

Famous comedian Eddie Murphy acted like a louse! When former Spice Girl Mel B became pregnant with their daughter Angel, Murphy denied paternity. When a DNA test confirmed he was indeed the dad. Murphy did not accept the outcome. It has taken him years to get even slightly close to his daughter. Mel B is angry with Murphy; it is unlikely her resentment will go away as long as he acts out the role of a very unfunny “heartless dad!”.

Jude Law

Jude Law is a honey on screen, he certainly does not lack personal charm but as a dad, a makeover might be necessary. Jude has three children with ex-model Sadie Frost and a child with model Samantha Burke; the result of a one-night stand. Things only got nasty when Mia discovered some nude photos Allen had taken of their adopted daughter Soon Yi, who was twenty at the time.
