Many of our fave stars have enough money to buy a small country. Yet sometimes they go over the top. Take U2 front man Bono who shelled out a mere $1,700 to have a trilby hat flown from London to Italy on a passenger jet, First Class. Overstatement or what!

Terrified of phantoms, she is convinced one particularly nasty ghost called Ryan wants her “guts for garters!”. Did she really have to spend all that money on a ghost detector when she ceould have called in a psychic medium and had her house “cleansed” of nasty spirits for less than half the price?

Nicholas Cage
Nicholas Cage is known for his mega shopping sprees. He spent a million dollars on a comic book collection and shelled out $276,000 on a Tyrannosaurus Rex skull, outbidding Leonardo Di Caprio. So what gives with the overstated Nick? One thing is for sure, even his fans are worried about his spend thrift ways!

We all know what a humidifier is; many of us have one, we bought it cut price on Amazon. For that reason alone one wonders what Celine Dion was doing when she spent two million dollars on hers. Well, for one thing, Celine’s gold and crystal job ensures the lady always hits the high C with that splendid voice of hers. For sure, Dion rarely saves in the big bucks department, even surrounding herself with a four million dollar entourage including four body guards and an Olympic trainer. A tad overstated “n’est pas” Celine?

Mike Tyson bought a two million dollar bath tub for his ex, plus two Bengal Tigers, he went bankrupt , clearly his extreme overstatements ruined him. We imagine nobody is that surprised or even asking why.

Jay Z and Beyoncé act like Gods as a matter of course, so we should not be too surprised to know that Jay Z bought his adored Beyoncé a private island in the Bahamas for four million dollars. Think of the handsome couple playing footsie in the waves when you roll up your trousers and go for a paddle down Brighton beach!

Kim Basinger went ballistic when she bought a twenty million dollar ghost town, in Georgia USA: Apparently called Braselton, her aim was to turn the place into a movie hot spot with tourist attractions and a yearly film festival. The brilliant idea flopped, and she went bankrupt. Perhaps that is why her ex Alex Baldwin is known to consistently scream down the phone at her.

Everything in Donald Trump’s life is bigger and better than most folks could ever dream of, and that does not only include his hair style. In fact the guy slaps gold plates on anything that moves. His personal Jet, a Boeing 757, not only speeds across the clouds super-fast, everything on it is gold plated, and that includes the seat-belt buckles and serving trays.

One thing is for sure bigger and better celebs over state their millions until the cows come home , they obviously do not have to worry about the bank manager throwing a wobbly like we do!
