Flowers Astrology

A wedding is a romantic occasion, and without flowers decorating the unique experience, weddings would just not seem the same. So every wedding ceremony makes sure flowers decorate the environment expressing the poetic language of love between bride and their groom. The language of flowers was first brought to the west by the Ottoman Empire, and still inspires us on special occasions. Flowers have a special significance, a unique language of their own, so what flower would our Astro Club use on their wedding day to express that deep love and commitment?

ARIES

Aries mustered all their courage to get married in the first place! Thank God their soul mate is into sky diving and bungee jumping. Unable to understand what flower to present to their loved one they opt for the standard Orchid, sweet, pink and stable. Orchids pinned to their track suits are just the job for that hot wedding night!

TAURUS

Your average earth loving Taurus might like to see a tree pinned to their loved one’s wedding lapel. But then they are reasonable folk, and do realize that even a bonsai would look odd. So they might tend to go for tulips no matter if the future mother in law twitters on about carnations, orchids and roses being far more adapt. Everyone knows red tulips are a true declaration of love! Stubborn Taurus sticks their heels in. It is either mother in law or them!

GEMINI

Gemini likes to think of his future partner not only as a confidante and lover, but a friend. Yet even a Gemini is overwhelmed as he hands the bride a pink rose, aware that it is just the right type of intellectual and stimulating flower to get the juices flowing! A pink rose also means perfect happiness, and happiness is a subject Gemini will just love to natter on about during a very long wedding speech.

CANCER

Cancer is a sentimental individual. Nothing less than red and white roses will do for their special day. Their conservative rose is a perfect flower. Cancer is totally committed to their future spouse, and makes sure that the wedding day is planned on a full moon. Mainstream celebrations are guaranteed, none of this alternative black orchid type stuff for them. Red and white roses mean unity. Let the whole wedding table and church be sumptuously decorated by them then!

LEO
Leo likes a touch of flamboyance on their wedding day. Sunflowers for wedding guests’ button holes are amusing. Anyway, their sign is ruled by the sun, so no matter the expense of importing them from Southern France, these flowers can only bring luck! The sunflower is rather large in shape, but means loyalty and there is nothing a Leo appreciates more than “larger than life loyalty!” Their romantic history has been a heavy load to carry. Finding someone who simply adores you is so difficult these days.

VIRGO

Virgo goes for pink and white roses, the sheer delicacy of their message of “I love you and always will love you,” strikes deep into their loyal hearts. A touch of conformist romanticism goes down a treat on a Virgo wedding day, they do not like wedding guests or brides/grooms to look messy, and pink and white roses are such a great decorative centre piece for the wedding table if they are neatly arranged that is!

LIBRA

Sterling silver roses are just the job for a Libran wedding. They go with the sterling silver and the silver wedding theme too. Libran likes harmony, likes things to match. Sterling silver roses refer to “love at first sight” and when that honey walked into the party dressed head to toe in Chanel it was all this Libra could do to control himself. Certainly a chic wedding party will be held by all as a result of this fatal attraction.

SCORPIO

Scorpios, who as we know dig intensity, might also dig black dahlias or orchids. The flowers, of course, are only worn on bride and groom and match the rather unusual black wedding dressed bride, and black cloaked groom. Guests might shock, but this Scorpio knows the black orchid means passionate love and sensual goings on, and that is all they could ever ask for when it comes to honeymoon capers!

SAGITTARIUS
Saggy’s wedding flower could be the simple daisy gathered in the fields around their home. Saggy likes long walks and will have gone on a couple of them to de-stress prior to their wedding day. They will probably arrive at the church with messy hair, and arms full of daisies to gift their loved ones, and guests. Everyone will laugh, even though the church is regaled with bouquets of red roses. Saggy’s like light heartedness at weddings because they are probably feeling rather depressed.

CAPRICORN

Capricorns are conservative. Red roses and white bridal gowns are their thing. Red roses never let a lover down, they mean love, devotion and a Capricorn is darned if they are going to rock this particular nuptial boat. Red rose petals are symbolically showered, with confetti, over Cappy’s life companion as they grin at the wedding photographer for all they are worth!!

AQUARIUS

Aquarians are into bouquets, variety and originality being the name of the game. So what could be more fun at a Water Carrier wedding than bride and groom with mutual bouquets of lavender, lilies and purple roses, perhaps in heart shapes, to signify romantic love? Small bouquets are then offered to the guests just so they realize life has a purpose!

PISCES
If the season is right our romantic Pisces will go for apple blossom. Yes, their watery, sentimental natures encourage them to express poetically, Victorian style, and since they cannot use water lilies what would be better than magical apple blossom strewn over the wedding table, or scattered over the honeymoon bed? The thought of such poetry will have them sweetly crying to Mendelssohn’s Wedding March!
