TELEPHONE MEDIUM

The telephone medium is probably an old soul, with an inbuilt understanding of human nature. The metaphysical gifts of a telephone medium connect us to forces that are intangible to the naked eye, but are becoming more relevant not only through the New Science, such as the String Theory that expounds on parallel universes, but because of the work of determined researchers of the paranormal such as Jon Klimo.

Klimo sought to understand the non-ordinary all his life. He explored humanity’s relationship with inter-dimensional worlds. One of his specialties has been the “scientific-type cross-world” that comes from the emerging field of Electronic Voice Phenomena, or EVP.

Electronic Voice Phenomena

EVP is based on the assumption that our soul lives on at death and it began when Attila von Szalay began recording what he claimed were the voices of the dead. He used a reel to reel tape recorder at the time, and felt that he had achieved a consciousness breakthrough. Then a Swedish painter and film producer, called Friedrich Jurgenson was harmlessly recording bird song, but on hearing the recording back, he heard what he believed to be his late father’s voice.

The EVP recordings evolved to custom made, and consisted of a microphone, an insulated cabinet, a recording device and a speaker. In 1982 Sarah Estep founded the American Association of Electronic Voice Phenomena and from then on sensitive recording instruments were developed to keep up with these phenomena, even though some skeptics pan it full on. But there can be no mistake that something or someone is talking on these played back tapes.

Klimo reports on some of the spirit messages coming through EVP in his online report “Otherworldly and Inter-Dimensional Relations”.

“We have a body like yours; it consists of finer and faster vibration than your dance, course material world”.

“Your system of reality is one of countless others. All are happening at the same time. The “frequency” of our reality is so short that it cannot be perceived by you. It is far outside the range of electromagnetic wavelengths and has nothing to do with it anymore.”

And finally the purported spirit of Pasteur’s contemporary, Henry St Clair deVille.

“The universe is composed of electrons which are infinitesimal circles of Beyond-space, rolled up very compact. Electrons usually choose to be what they have always been so Reality recreates itself from moment to moment amidst a flux of options. This process is the voice of Being. All of Reality is forever winking-in-and-out simultaneously. Thus Reality sustains itself!”

In 2006, some TV crew members and a psychic claimed that the spirit of John Lennon contacted them through EVP equipment, and in a 2008 History Channel series called Monster Quest, two EVPs were picked up in the Lizzie Borden house, which is classified as the most haunted in America.

The off shoot of EVP-type phenomena has pushed the media to the fringe. Films like The Sixth Sense, White Noise, The Changeling and TV offshoots like Ghost Whisperer have been the result. But it has to be said, that when a medium, such as a telephone medium, manages to pick up the declarations of those who have passed on to their loved ones, giving proof of life after death through small details few could possibly know, we have to say it is all far more than one step beyond cold reading, in fact it would be almost defamation of character to claim a telephone medium is having us on at that stage.

Sometimes we will quite naturally feel the presence of the spirit of someone we love around us. We might experience shivers up and down our spine, joy in our hearts, a realization that life is a beautiful, and eternal adventure.
