Melanie is a half English, half Swedish “butter would not melt in her mouth” babe. Her good looks start with that child-like voice, followed by a “dumb blonde” demeanor. But do not be fooled, no matter how “cutie pie” Melanie might appear, she is a Leo Lady who transforms into a big cat before you can shriek “Antonio Banderas”. She has long claws, a wild bent to her nature, and likes to prowl the jungles at moonlight. We are joking of course! Her origins are sheer, Hollywood blue blood, her mother was the famous actress Tippi Hendrin. Hitchcock loved Tippi’s cool class, and caste her in the terrifying “The Birds”. Nonetheless, Melanie has not let her mother’s stardom affect her own, original way of doing things. She is Melanie, and although aristocratic in Hollywood terms, certainly no snob. She began working at nine months old as an especially beautiful baby, and never looked back. Born on 9th August 1957 her Sun and Moon placements dance out of sync. She has an eccentric Aquarian moon you see, and it can tip her over into outer space, were she gathers ideas for the benefit of humanity. She argues with herself frequently too, you know that Leo versus Water Carrier issue, but only for two seconds, because Melanie is a determined chick and not, and we repeat not the “Blondie” she seems. She on the ball with Mercury in Virgo, she can grasp the overall picture in two seconds, and then dish out the facts like a computer programmer. But her main way of relating to reality is through her heart and emotions, sensitivity and intuition are a second brain to Melanie. When it comes to her profession that gift is useful. She grasps a role in totem, totally in sympathy once she makes it her business to “understand” a characterization on the film set. When it comes to every day, Melanie will empathise with world injustices and cry over cruelties to children or animals. Yes she weeps sincerely, she has that big Leo heart after all. Additionally if you were to dig a little deep you might find that she is borderline psychic and can see right into your soul. Some Hollywood Big wigs might shift from one foot to the other when faced with Melanie’s penetrating “don’t give me that!” stare. Don Johnson never got used to that look of hers, even when they were an item. She was fourteen years old when they started dating but so astute she made his toes curl. There is a unique openness to her really, a sincerity that disarms those who get to know her, plus her humor is great. Melanie will say it how it is, until she can say it no longer. It has to be faced, Melanie is a grounded lady. She wants her children happy and secure. For all her sweet ways she is no push over. She has a good head on her shoulders, and knows how to organize so that things work! Generally she keeps her Aquarian opinions to herself. But they still are there, under the surface, pushing her to do something “wild”. But the fact is she is far too sensible to risk sky diving, as now she has a family to think of. Melanie will soon get involved with a new business close to her heart, and it will have nothing to do with Hollywood. It could be a project that fulfils her wish for stability and creativity. Melanie realises Hollywood will not be her only source of public service, and will expand her field of action to business interests, or film production. Melanie will be communicating new ideas, chatting with people from all over the world, perhaps involved with a Green project, or a nature film. Over the next three years she will be expanding her vision, and moving into other areas besides show business. There is excitement ahead for her, and new ways of perceiving reality. All very positive, so keep your ears and eyes open, for the next installment of the Melanie Griffith show!
